Greystone Pinot Noir 2010

Very dense and dark garnet in colour.  The nose is complex combining dark plum, masses of black cherry, campfire coals with a herbal hint in the background from the partial whole bunch fermentation.  The pallet is textural and chocked full of concentrated dark fruits and spicey oak; this is a wine that opens up considerably in the glass

Greystone Riesling 2010

This is our benchmark Riesling, a hero variety in this region.

Our 2010 vintage shows hints of orange and lime rind on the nose. As with all our Rieslings we're really interested in the texture we can create in the wine, afforded to us by the long hang time we get in the Waipara Valley. Lots of spice, peach & other stone fruit on the palate focussed by some lovely citrus flavoured minerality.
