Greystone Wine Now Available in Japan

Greystone Wines, one of New Zealand’s premium wine producers, will now be available in Japan through Daiho Trading. Daiho Trading has begun importing a selection of premium wines and has added the acclaimed winery Greystone to its portfolio.

General Manager of Greystone Wines, Nik Mavromatis said the opportunity to export wine to Japan is very exciting. “Japan has long been one of our key targets and we have a number of visitors to our cellardoor from Japan. We visited last year as part of NZ Winegrowers events and presented at seminars in Kanazawa, Kyoto and Tokyo. The response was brilliant and we look forward to spending more time in Japan ”.

Greystone Wines was established in 2004 and in that short time have twice won Decanter Trophies for best Pinot Noir, been named New Zealand Organic Vineyard of the Year and won the Air NZ trophy for best Riesling and best Pinot Noir . Most recently two of their wines have been chosen as part of the “Fine Wines of New Zealand” programme sponsored by Air New Zealand to find the top 50 wines of New Zealand.
