We talk proudly about our vineyard and terroir but the best way to experience it is first-hand. You will be able to taste through our special releases, aged wines and other treats only available at our cellar. We’re situated just off State Highway 1, 5 minutes north of the town of Waipara as you come up to the Omihi Hills. In addition to being an exceptional area to grow grapes, it is also a great place to visit and explore. We have picnic tables and a bike trail running through the vineyard so would encourage you to make a day of it and come see us.
We have listed here just a few of our many friends and neighbours who help make this area special. Whether it is seeing the limestone cliffs of the Waipara Gorge or visiting the Farmers Market be sure to spend some time enjoying North Canterbury.

Our vineyard is defined by the limestone in our soil. The best place to see this is at the Waipara Gorge. Spectacular geology on show.
Not open to the public for visits but just get in contact for the best place to buy fresh truffles. Also cottage accommodation available.
The Hurunui is filled with activities such walking Mt Cass, taking a steam train up the Weka Pass or riding many of the biking trails.
On Saturday mornings from 9-12 in Amberley a great place to pick up some fresh produce, bread or snacks.
If you need to get picnic supplies or just grab a coffee on the way up to visit us. Highly recommend the Braised Lamb Shank Pie!
Up the Waipara Gorge is the old limestone quarry that's filled with sculpture by Raymond Herber. Open every Sunday.
