Dom and the boys from Groove Armada in the vineyards

Superstylin’ with Groove Armada

We’ll admit it, a lot of us around Greystone are proud GenXers, so when one of our favourite British electronic bands popped by for a visit, we drew straws for who’d take them on a tour. (No surprise, Dom won.)

This month, we hosted Andy Cato and Tom Findlay from Groove Armada. It was inspirational to learn about Andy’s journey with Wildfarmed and his goals for landscape change across arable farming in the UK.

Wildfarmed offers a route to market for crops grown in systems that prioritise soil health. We work with farmers embracing regenerative approaches to improve farm biodiversity and soil condition. We grow all our crops without the use of herbicides, fungicides or pesticides. We are creating a traceable field to plate network which allows consumers to participate in the restoration of soil and biodiversity.

It was a pleasure to share our own goals and aspirations for wine growing here at Greystone, and of course, share a glass of Vineyard Ferment Pinot Noir.
